Major SCADA system development project |
Software development of a large SCADA
system for Eastern Electricity, using the WESDAC32 and HABITAT
platform. This was a major 5 year project, which included
supervision, the preparation of design specifications to the customer's
requirements, software coding, factory acceptance testing, installation
of the system on site, site acceptance testing, live commissioning
and cut over and the installation of additional facilities.
This project was a major technical challenge because of the unprecedented
size of the telemetry database, and the quick response times required
by the system. It required the building of a solid relationship
with the customer in order to specify and deliver an acceptable
system. |
